climbED: How To Manage Guilty Feelings After Eating

I know how horrible it can be, that feeling that the food you have eaten is now growing on your skin, the itching, the panic but it is just a feeling. It isn’t reality, that is not what scientifically happens when you eat. After eating it is all about tolerating the feeling rather than getting rid of it, tolerate it and ride it out until it gets easier. Here are my tips for manage feelings of guilt after eating:

  • Go for a gentle walk.
  • Have a warm bath.
  • Paint your nails.
  • Do a jigsaw puzzle.
  • Puzzle books are great.
  • Watch something you love, or something that makes you laugh.
  • Play a board game or a video game.
  • Talk to someone.
  • Listen to music.
  • Play with a pet.
  • Social network or blog.
  • Collage.
  • Read.
  • Clean or tidy or organise something.
  • Create an amazon wishlist.
  • Write.
